1. Mid-South Flute Festival

First United Methodist Church

Internationally celebrated Swiss-Canadian flutist, Michel Bellavance, is in high demand around the globe and is the Professor of Flute for the advanced classes at the renowned Geneva Conservatoire, (HEM Switzerland). He has given recitals throughout Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. He has performed at major festivals throughout the globe as well as on several radio broadcasts for the CBC, the Radio Suisse Romande, and National Public Radio.

2. Mayberry Man Movie Event

The Palace Theatre

Meet the stars of the movie and enjoy the live bluegrass music of Berachah Valley at a special screening of the new family comedy Mayberry Man at The Historic Palace Theatre in downtown Gallatin. One show only on Sunday at 2 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 when you can mingle with some of your favorite Mayberry characters. Berachah Valley bluegrass band takes the stage at 2 p.m., followed by the movie at 2:30 p.m. Mayberry Man is an original family movie inspired by the 1960s classic TV series “The Andy Griffith Show” featuring a cast of Mayberry tribute artists. Starring Brett Varvel as Hollywood movie star, “Chris Stone”, Allan Newsome as “Floyd the Barber” and Rik Roberts as “Barney Fife” with a special appearance by Karen Knotts.

3. Weed Wrangle

Cedars of Lebanon State Park

The Park Rangers of Lebanon State Park need your help! Join them for Weed Wrangle, where volunteers will battle those nasty exotic invasives. It’s the Park Services mission to eradicate the park of invasives, so that the native species can thrive and survive for many years to come. Please bring gloves and dress appropriately for being outside and in the woods. They also honor all TN promise hours. Please contact the Park Ranger for large groups or inquiries.

4. 2022 TRSCCA Test and Tune

The Tennessee Region Sports Car Club of America is having its season opener for members who have been working on projects during the winter. The event is capped at 80 entries so register while you can! All times are subject to change, so they recommend all competitors arrive on site between 7:00am and 8:30am to ensure enough time to prepare. The organizers focus on staying on schedule and being prompt on the start times. Tech will close at 9:00am and the drivers meeting will start at 9:30am. If you would like to help but are not sure of what you can do, please ask! All TRSCCA officers are more than willing to help and show you the ropes.

5. Feel the Force

Painting with a Twist

Join the artists of Painting with a Twist at their *BYOB* studio as you paint some masterpieces! Seat price includes use of all necessary paint supplies and aprons, instruction, and a 16×20 (or other) take-home canvas (or wood)! For most of their events, painters should be 15 or older, 21 or older if bringing/drinking alcohol. Their family and kids classes are for all ages, but typically 6 or older.
