2. US Figure Skating Championship

U.S. figure skating champions will be crowned in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dance at the championship and junior levels of the U.S. Figure Skating competitive structure, here in Nashville! The U.S. Championships, which serves as the final qualifying competition prior to U.S. Figure Skating nominating athletes to the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team, attracts more than 750 athletes, coaches, officials and media to the host community, in addition to thousands of spectators. In order to attend this event, all attendees over the age of 5 must provide proof of vaccination.

3. Free Oil Changes for Single Mothers, Widows, and Active Duty Military Wives

Round Lick Baptist Church is hosting this charitable event this weekend! In addition to changing your oil, they will also conduct an overall safety check, including checking tire pressures and topping off wiper fluid. Attendees will also have their air filters checked, windshields cleaned, and their front seat floors vacuumed. All that is needed is a reserved appointment time.

4. Dine at Whataburger

The first of eight future Whataburger locations opened on Wednesday, January 5 in Hermitage! The Hermitage location will have 175 employees and is looking to hire 1,300 by the end of the year in the area. Ahead of the opening, Whataburger has released a traffic plan that allows entrance to the restaurant only from Old Hickory Boulevard with police and security on hand to help with congestion. These measures will be in place as long as necessary.

5. Cocktail Class
