Wilson County Schools

Message from WCS:

Wilson County Schools will be dismissing 2 hours early today (Thursday, February 17th).

With the potential for severe weather to make its way into Wilson County through the late afternoon and evening hours, this early dismissal will allow extra time for our transportation department to safely drop off students this afternoon.

This decision was made out of an abundance of caution, and we want to avoid putting any bus drivers, bus riders, families, students, teachers and staffs in a possible dangerous situation on the roadways.

With this being a 2-hour early dismissal across the district, just simply subtract 2 hours from your school’s normal dismissal time and that will be your dismissal time for today.
Our transportation department is working to accommodate this schedule modification for today.

Kids Club will operate on their inclement weather policy this afternoon, but all extracurricular activities are canceled for this evening.
