The Board of Education has approved the name, mascot and colors of Wilson County’s newest elementary school.
The next new school project to be built in Wilson County School district will be named LaGuardo Elementary.
The school will be known as the Captains with the school colors of true red, navy blue and light blue.
The school name, colors, mascot and a capacity of 1,000 students was approved unanimously during the Wilson County School’s Board meeting on August 7, 2023.
