Wanted Man Arrested After Entering I-40 In Mt. Juliet

A wanted man was taken into custody after being spotted by an officer entering a busy interstate in Mt. Juliet.

According to Mt. Juliet Police, an officer recognized the driver of a vehicle merging onto I-40 from Mt. Juliet Road as an individual with outstanding warrants. The 23-year-old man from Nashville was wanted by Nashville authorities for a felony probation violation tied to aggravated burglary.

Officials say he was also wanted in Wilson County for a probation violation involving criminal impersonation and unlawful possession of a Schedule II drug. In addition, he was found to be driving on a suspended license.

The suspect was safely taken into custody and transported to the Wilson County Jail.
