A community-wide effort is planned in Lebanon as residents are invited to help beautify the city ahead of a major national milestone.
The City of Lebanon is hosting its annual “Let Lebanon Shine” Community Clean Up Day on May 30 at 8 a.m. Volunteers will meet at City Hall, located at 200 N. Castle Heights Avenue in Lebanon.
This year’s event will focus on planting red, white, and blue flowers throughout the city in preparation for Independence Day celebrations, as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary.
City leaders say the event is a simple way for residents to make a meaningful impact while helping prepare the community for upcoming festivities. Those interested in participating are asked to email their contact information with the subject line “Let Lebanon Shine” to Tonya Jones at tonya.jones@lebanontn.org.
