Two Arrested in Mt Juliet Organized Retail Crime

On Friday afternoon, Mt. Juliet Police license plate readers alerted officers to a vehicle connected to organized retail crime.

The vehicle was located in Providence MarketPlace near Dick’s Sporting Goods, where two Nashville men with active arrest warrants were taken into custody.

A 32-year-old man was wanted by Nashville authorities for felony theft of merchandise. He was also found in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

A 47-year-old man was wanted for theft. He was in possession of drug paraphernalia and charged with destroying evidence.

Both individuals were arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail.
