Lebanon police arrested two men after officers on patrol noticed suspicious activity in a creek along South Cumberland Street.
During the investigation, officers found that a 55-year-old man from Brush Creek had suspected methamphetamine and an active warrant from Rutherford County for failure to appear.
A second man, 32, who appeared to be under the influence, was found with a handgun, suspected methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Police said he is a convicted felon.
Both men were taken into custody without incident on multiple charges.
