A Wilson County Schools bus was involved in a crash around 8 a.m. today on Lebanon Road near Cooks Road, between Lebanon and Mt. Juliet.
All students and the bus driver are safe. Students were transferred to another bus and transported to their schools.
The accident caused significant traffic delays, and bystanders expressed concern for those involved. Officials reported that the other vehicle in the crash had multiple passengers, with at least one person possibly injured.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation. The scene has been cleared, and traffic is now moving normally along Lebanon Road near Cooks Road.
