Sadly, a Rottweiler puppy from a police pursuit, who also tested positive for cocaine, passed away on February 25, 2023, reports Mt. Juliet Police.
During the pursuit by MJPD Officers on February 15, 2023, three people were arrested in connection with an armed robbery. The puppy was found inside the car when the suspects were taken into custody.
On intake, it was discovered the pup also had canine parvovirus and after days under the intensive care of a veterinarian, he passed away.
A custody court date is set for late March.
