April 8, 2024 – On 03/14/2024, Mt. Juliet Police say two suspects walked into Academy Sports on Pleasant Grove Road and stole 13 baseball bats. The items stolen are collectively nearly $6,000.
Surveillance captured the suspects in the act, and detectives are hoping someone will recognize them.
The first suspect is described as a white (of unknown descent) female with dark hair, wearing a white Nike shirt and dark-colored pants, pushing a baby stroller with a light-colored item covering the hood portion. The second suspect is a white (of unknown descent) male with dark hair, wearing a red, white, blue/black striped shirt (colors from top to bottom) and dark pants. The male suspect was pushing an Academy shopping cart with two small children inside.
