A section of Central Pike in Wilson County was shut down after an overturned dump truck damaged utility infrastructure during a crash.
According to the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened near 13953 Central Pike and involved a dump truck that overturned. Authorities said the crash damaged a fence row and an electrical pole in the area.
Officials reported there were no injuries.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Crews from Middle Tennessee Electric are working to repair the damaged poles while tow trucks assist with clearing the overturned vehicle.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes, including Posey Hill Road and Leeville Road, as the roadway will remain closed indefinitely while repairs and cleanup continue.
