Woodrow ‘Woody’ Dickens, age 78 of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Woody, as he was known by his family and friends, was a true “people person”. He loved to be around people and could talk to anyone. He also had a knack for building literally anything. He was a teacher at Hickman County High School for many years in the HVAC tech class and was self-employed in the HVAC field. Woody will be missed every day, but his memory will never fade away.
Woody was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Dickens; parents, Robert & Dolly Dickens; 2 sisters and 7 brothers.
He is survived by his daughters, Telina Dorris and Tracy (Ron) Cloutier; grandchildren, Kellie (Bryan) Ward, C. J. (Lindsey) Dorris, Bryce (Savannah) Dorris, Nathaniel Sanderson, Kathryn Cloutier and Marellen Cloutier; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27th at 2 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Troy Dickens officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 26th from 4-8 pm and Wednesday, September 27th from 12 pm until time of service.
