Virginia Ann (Frey) Karnuth, age 79, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Ann was born in Nashville, TN and was the oldest daughter of the late, Bryan Leibert Frey and Mary Virginia (Dickinson) Frey.
She was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church where she was a 4-year-old Sunday School teacher for over 20 years. Ann graduated from Peabody Demonstration High School and went on to attend Union University. She developed into a gifted seamstress and a master of hospitality.
In addition to her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her brother, Lee Frey.
She is survived by:
Husband of 57 years – William D. Karnuth
Daughters – Sherry (Alan) Vermilye and Julie Hayes
Sisters – Peggy (Don) Little and Debby (Shelby) Smith
Sister-in-law – Elaine (Lee) Frey
Grandchildren – Zane (Hannah) Vermilye, Maddie (Tyler) Warmath, Olivia (Tate) Williams,
Emma Vermilye and Abby Rose Kendle
Great-grandchildren – Jax, Maverick and Walker Vermilye
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023 at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Alan Vermilye, Todd Helton, Zane Vermilye, Tyler Warmath, Tate Williams and Nathan Stolz.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made in her honor to Alive Hospice.
