Surrounded by her family at home in Lebanon, Tonya Sellars peacefully crossed over from this life to the next on July 25, 2026, at the age of 54.
Tonya Monique Crutcher Sellars was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to Alma Lorine French Crutcher and James Leslie Crutcher. She proudly served a brief time in the United States Navy before building a career with UnitedHealthcare as a Chart Retrieval Specialist.
Above all else, Tonya loved her family. Her greatest joy was simply being together with the people she loved most. She cherished taking photos to capture special memories, enjoyed driving through beautiful neighborhoods and playfully pulling into the driveway of a gorgeous home saying, “I’m home!”, and looked forward to movie days, whether at home or in the theater. A true foodie at heart, Tonya was always on the hunt for her next favorite meal or hidden gem. She never met a stranger, and her warm, outgoing personality made conversation come naturally. Whether she was talking about the best places to eat, sharing stories about her beloved grandchildren, showing off pictures of her cats, or chatting about life, she had a way of making everyone feel like a friend.
Tonya’s love will live on through her children: Danielle Overall, Tori (Anthony) Copeland, Zachary (Kate) Overall, and Tiffany Smith; her cherished grandchildren: Kylee Copeland, Kinslee Overall, Aaliyah West, and Elijah Overall; her mother, Alma Crutcher; her sister, Beverly Squires; and her sister-in-law, Darryl Bratcher.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Crutcher, and her brothers, Billy Ray and Bobby Bratcher.
Tonya will be remembered for her kind heart, her gift of conversation, her love of laughter, and the way she made family the center of her world. She leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
