Jeannette “Theresa” Likens Agee, of Mt. Juliet, was born December 3, 1957 and passed away on April 1, 2026 at age 68. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Charlie Patterson and Brother David Woodard, is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, with family serving as Pallbearers, will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.
For 45 years, Mrs. Agee served as a devoted charter member of Mt. Juliet Missionary Baptist Church. Saved at 13, she spent her life walking in the light of the Lord’s love. She has now finished her race and reached her final resting place in the arms of her Father.
She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Agee; her parents, Hollis and Clorene Likens; her parents in love Rayburn and Betty Agee; her brothers, Doyle and David Likens; and her brother in love, Tim Agee.
She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 52 years, Otis Agee; her daughters, Kristi (John) Toth and Katie Agee; and her brothers, Randy Likens and Bird Armstrong. She also leaves behind her sister in love Melody Whited, her chosen sister Janice Pierce; and many others who loved and cherished her.
Her legacy lives on through her most precious grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Brooklyn, Jackson, Journey, and Khelani and her special chosen grandchild, Hannah.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care and support. A special note of gratitude is shared for Brother Ron, Bethanie, Stacy, Mary Beth, and Tina, whose kindness and dedication provided immense comfort during this time.
