Teresa Sullins, age 69, of Lebanon, passed away on March 21, 2026. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
Teresa Marie Mofield Sullins was born in Nashville TN as one of eight children to Nettie Marie Hunley Mofield and Francis Marion Mofield. Teresa was always about family. She married Howard Sullins Jr. and together they built a good life around their own family. Teresa truly enjoyed having her own home and was a wonderful homemaker with a gentle and determined spirit to put family first. Once the children got older, she went back to school and started work at Family Eye Med, a job she loved nearly as much as being homemaker. Teresa never met a stranger and basically became a mother hen to everybody. She loved having the family together for meals and special events, and totally spoiled the grandchildren. Teresa was baptized at Southside Baptist Church in Lebanon and attended regularly. She was a pro at Jeopardy.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 50 years, Howard Sullins Jr., children Jennie Julien, Etta (Derrick) Comer, and Bonny (Dylan) Montanye, grandchildren Crue (Jessica) Julien, Eric Julien Jr., Austin (Layla) Julien, great-grandchildren Harrison, Peyton, and Luka Julien, siblings Donnie Hobbs, Richard “Ricky” (T.J.) Mofield, and Lisa (Dennis) Glaub, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by granddaughter Hailey Jade Comer, parents Nettie and Francis Mofield, and brothers Randy, Ronnie, Farion and his twin Marion Mofield.
