Steve Matthews passed away on May 11, 2024 at age 54.
Steven Craig Matthews was born in Pontiac MI to Ludie Odell Hines Matthews and Donald Matthews.
Steve Matthews was a registered Land Surveyor. He was the Director of Surveying for Dale and Associates in Nashville TN. He was a 30-year martial artist, studied several martial arts, and earned a 5th Dan in Aikido. Steve enjoyed vegetable gardening and digging holes for his wife’s flower garden, and woodworking.
Steve is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jean Henson Matthews; mother: Ludie Matthews; siblings: Jeff (Gina) Matthews, Debbie (Allen) Bartley, and Ronald (Becky) Matthews; many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and friends from all over.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Matthews.
The Funeral Service is 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the service at 3 p.m.
