Ronnie Wayne Cox age 67 of Alexandria, died Friday, May 2, 2025 at St. Thomas Dekalb Hospital in Smithville. He was born June 20, 1957 in Lebanon, son of the late James and Mary Frances Murray Cox and was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Cox; sister, Juanita Flatt and brother, Eddie Cox.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 49 1/2 years, Rondra Sue Cox; daughter, Christy Dies; grandchildren, Chloe Dies, Mikayla Dies, Jacob Dies, Jordan Cox, Kierra Perry; and a sister, Jamie Linnear.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Drew Eastes officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. till service time. Pallbearers, Chris Dies, Jacob Dies, Andrew Parker, Tony Boyd, Cecil Ketchum, Waylon Ketchum.
