Robert Measle, age 57, of Lebanon, passed away on February 28, 2025.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Scott Moore, is 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Robert Jordan Measle was born in Lebanon TN to Annie Frances Wauford and Jordan Measle Jr. Robert always worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator. He was much sought after in his line of work, which gave him a sense of pride and accomplishment. He was very family oriented, light-hearted, enjoyed late-night card games, and cooking and grilling for the family. Robert liked going to flea markets, listening to country music, and having long conversations about life with family and friends.
Robert is survived by his daughter Carrie (William) Johnson, bonus sons A.J. Stafford, Allen Gregory, siblings Ray (Shirley) Walker and Ronda Kay Charles, sister-in-law Lindsay Measle, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus grandchildren, extended family, and grand-dogs Griffey, Bear, and Kendall. He is also survived by his special friends Melanie Botts and Bruce Belcher. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Ginger Reese, his parents Annie Frances Wauford and Jordan Wilson Measle Jr., brother Ryan Oliver Measle and sister Ruby Faye Spurlock.
