Robert Dale Smith, Sr., of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee was born on September 15, 1950 and passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, he was 73 years old.
He was the son of Elwin E. Smith and Ethel (Kilburn) Smith
Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. He was an avid sports fan. He loved music and played in several bands in his younger years.
He is predeceased by his parents and grandson Ryan Allen Smith.
He is survived by his sons; Robert (Leisa) Smith, Andrew (Jazmine) Smith daughters; Kristy (Greg) Nehring, Tara (Anthony) Barbaro, Tiffany Sanders, Annette Ortiz, Jenna (Joe) Bass; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He also has several nieces and nephews. A special friend Steve Strzelecki and life long friend Sharon McPherson. His companion Rugby.
Burial will be at a later date at Nashville National Cemetery.
