Robert Dale Robinson age 91 of Liberty, died Thursday morning, June 4, 2026 at the Webb House in Smithville. Born July 4, 1934 in Liberty, he was the son of the late James W. Robinson and Shellie Cooper Robinson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Malone Robinson on April 24, 2025; his brothers, Stephen Edward Robinson and Truitt Robinson; and sisters, Melodia Mathis, Jessie Lee Vanatta, Lena Rhody and Lavelle Turner.
Robert and his wife, Roberta operated Roberts Bi-Rite in Liberty for a number of years. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Robert is survived by his sons, Charles (Rita) Robinson of Liberty, Mitch (Jenny) Robinson of Clarksville and Brian Robinson of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Stephen (Samantha Frazier) Robinson, Samantha Robinson, Sydney Fetcho; step-grandson, Jordan (Sabrina) Melton and their son, Jay Austin Melton. He is also survived by a sister, Bertha McBride and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Don Mathis and Bro. Christopher Young officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. till service time. Pallbearers, Charles Robinson, Mitch Robinson, Brian Robinson, Stephen Robinson, Jordan Melton, Phil Robinson. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery.
