Mrs. Robbie Lain Gray, age 84 of Lebanon passed away September 8, 2023, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville.
Born January 13, 1939, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late James Robert Lain and Emma Eunice Sanford Lain.
She worked in the Wilson County Courthouse for over thirty five years, retiring from the Wilson County Trustees Office in 1999. She was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty six years, James Clayton Gray on July 13, 2022.
She is survived by two children: Pam (Mike) Hardin and Terry (Glenda) Gray; six grandchildren: Deanna (Troy) Rogers, Alan (Rachel) Hardin, Joey (Jennifer) Hardin, Jake (Jessica) Gray, Logan Gray, and Alex (Preston) Young; eleven great-grandchildren: Chase Birdwell, Rylee, Reese, and Ralyn Rogers, Alli & Noah Hardin, Andrew & Anna Kate Hardin, Tate & Gabe Gray, and Augie Young; two sisters: Eunice (Billy) Brummitt and Sherry Watson; two sisters-in-law, Lou (Julian) Stone and Jean (Conway) Stockton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Robbie Lain Gray will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Victory Baptist Church in Mount Juliet with Bro. Chuck Groover officiating. Interment Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM and Tuesday after 1 PM at Victory Baptist Church.
