Raymond Lee Knipper age 73 of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 6, 2024 at his residence.
Born in Augusta, Ky, he was the son of Marjorie Knipper Monroe and the late James Monroe and was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles David Knipper and William Frank Knipper; a sister. Evelyn Jean Knipper and forever friend, Danny Lindsey.
Raymond was a caterer in food service, he was a friend to many and loved playing pool, he proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Navy and US Coast Guard.
He leaves behind his wife, Diane Knipper; mother, Marjorie Monroe; children, Ronald (Kimberly) Knipper, Regina (Ryan) Owens, Randell (Mandy) Knipper, Rachel (Noah) Johnson; grandchildren, Chelsea (Austin) Coryell, Johnny (Shelby) Hodges, Cheyenne Hodges, Allison Sweeney, Rylan Eli, Silas Randall, Grace Monroe, Huxton Dedrick; great-grandson, Beau Austin and numerous friends and other family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Dickie Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time on Monday. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
