Rachel Lynn Rodgers passed away on October 9, 2025 at the tender age of 50.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Bishop Belita Fite McMurry, is 1 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Watson Cemetery will follow the service. Pallbearers: Maureece Rodgers, Lagregory Kirkendoll, Trent Arnett, and Carlos Crockett. Honorary Pallbearer: Lorenzo Seay. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday from noon until the service at 1 p.m.
Rachel was born in Carthage TN to Tammy Miller Rodgers and Billy Rodgers. She enjoyed working as a CNA so much that she did it for 22 years. Rachel loved being in the know so time spent talking and sharing stories were among her favorite times. She wanted her grandkids with her no matter where she was but her friends meant a lot to her too. Rachel was full of life and laughter and love and there was never a doubt where you stood with her. She was a member of Heaven’s View.
Rachel is survived by her children Destiny Seay and Maureece Rodgers, grandchildren Layla, Aiden, and Isaiah Seay, mother Tammy Miller, sister Tiffany Rodgers, and beloved niece and nephews. She is preceded in death by father Billy Rodgers, grandmother Linda Pantzer, great-grandmother Lillie Mai Craigmile, and fur babies Pebbles and Shaggy.
