Paula Adkins Adams Jackson, 61 of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, peacefully left this world on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, after an extended battle with cancer.
She is survived by son, Brandon Adams; grandchildren, Julie Adams, Kalie Adams, Thomas “Tommy” Adams and Paul Adams; great-granddaughter, Ryleigh; siblings, Jimmy Adkins, Debra Mangrum, and Shirley Leiser; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by son, Thomas Adams; daughter-in-law, Jessica Adams; brothers, Billy Adkins and Larry Adkins; sisters, Linda Faye Adkins and Barbara Buchanan; parents, Paul and June Adkins.
A devoted Mom and Nana, Paula’s greatest joy was her boys and grandbabies. She had an amazing family that she wouldn’t have traded for the world. Mrs. Jackson had a passion for traveling, horseback riding, and reading books- always looking forward to the next adventure.
Paula took great pride in being a person you could come to in a time of need. She would listen, support and aid in everyone’s wellbeing. She is beloved by her family and friends for her selfless loyalty and she did it unconditionally.
Her vibrant spirit, genuine compassion, and ability to connect with everyone she met will be deeply missed. The legacy of her love, boundless kindness, and unwavering faith touched many lives and will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Jim Johnston, will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 at 01:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 01:00 p.m.
