Nova Quinn Mason was born on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 and was granted her angel wings on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.
Nova’s family was blessed to share 2 months and 19 days, 1,920 hours, 115,200 minutes, and 6,912,000 seconds with her before God called her Home. Her life seems short to many, but those who were touched by her understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her and though she never spoke a word, her voice and thoughts could always be heard.
This sweet baby girl experienced so much during her short time on Earth- smiling for mommy’s camera, interactions with big brother and sister, snuggles and cuddles with mommy to calm down, unlimited hugs and kisses from her family, and being told “I love you” and “Nova’s my baby” an uncountable amount of times by her big brother, LJ. She’d often be found with her two favorite things- her paci in her mouth and wrapped up some way in her soft pink blankey.
Nova leaves behind her loving mother, Justina Mason; her older brother and sister, LJ Owens and Kenzlee Owens; her aunt, Jessie Mason; her grandparents, James and Stephanie Mason and Jena Mason; her uncle and aunt, Eli and Katie Mason; and her cousins, London Smith, Braylon Smith, and Levi Mason.
The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Monday, October 14th, 2024 at 02:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 14th from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 02:00 p.m.
Nova is deeply loved by her mommy, big brother LJ, big sister Kenzlee, grandparents, her aunts and uncles, her cousins and many others. She will always remain her mommy’s precious baby and LJ and Kenzlee’s little sister, and they will hold her again in Heaven one day.
