Newton Kelly Gay, age 75, of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at his residence.
Born Feb. 17, 1948, he was the son of the late Jack Gay and Clio Allen Gay Barrett and was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Gay and sisters, Sylvia Lane, Darlene Flowers and Priscilla “Punkin” Fulton.
Kelly was a retired crane operator with Mid South Wire.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Roger (Sandy) Wade of Fairview, Ralph (Bonnie) Wade of Marion, IL, Faye (David) Dodson of Mt. Juliet, Ann (Lyn) Doggett of Westmoreland, Sharon (Donald) Farmer of Watertown; 21 nieces and nephews; 39 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. David Haun officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. till service time on Wednesday. Interment will be at Sycamore Cemetery. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
