Nada Mehic, 57, passed away peacefully at her home in Mount Juliet on Friday, October 10, 2025 after a long illness.
Nada was born on June 19, 1968 in Zavidovici, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Yugoslavia to Momirka and Boško Malic. She met her husband Samir on September 13, 1985 and they married on August 27, 1994. They moved from Bosnia & Herzegovina to the middle Tennessee area with their children in 1997. She loved crossword puzzles, game shows, sunsets, cherry vanilla ice cream, walking on the beach, gardening, watching the hummingbirds and butterflies in her backyard, and most of all, her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father Boško, mother Momirka, and brother Nenad. Nada is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Samir Mehic; children Alena and Sanjin Mehic; son-in-law Nicholas Curee; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2025 4:00pm-8:00pm and Friday, October 17, 12:00pm-2:00pm, with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm at Sellars Funeral Home Mt. Juliet. Interment to follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
