Mildred Anita Bell passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at the age of 83 years.
Anita was born on August 29, 1940 in Lebanon, TN.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Allen Bell, parents William Carmack and Mildred Evelyn Harris, and brother, Wendell Carmack Harris all of Gladeville.
Survived by her son, Richard Harris “Rick” Bell and brother Randy Harris of Gladeville; Nephews Ty Harris of Bradenton, FL and Ryan (Faith) Harris of Murfreesboro. Nieces Shannon Sullivan of Nashville and Kellie Eakes of Lafayette. Great Nephew Jared Sullivan. Great Nieces Jade Sullivan, Tobi, Pippa and Tessa Harris; Karleigh (Cody) Crump, Kelseigh Eakes and Lily Young. Great Grand Nephew Elijah Crump, as well as numerous other close relatives and special friends.
Anita was a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. She was employed by Life & Casualty Insurance Company, Opryland USA, and retired from First American/Regions Bank.
She was a lifelong member of Gladeville Methodist Church, and ever in selfless service while never losing a smile on her face. An avid Vanderbilt sports fan, “Aunt Nita” and “Nene” will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held at Gladeville Methodist Church, 8770 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m.
