OBITUARY: Micah Washburn

Micah Phoenix Washburn was born in Lebanon, TN at the Vanderbilt Hospital on April 27, 2023 at 7:15pm. He spent his days watching his favorite baby shows Super Simple Songs, Ms. Rachel, with newly being introduced to the Minions movie and falling in love with “BANANA’S”. He loved to watch any light that passed him by, from his light up toys to looking up in any new room to see the light fixtures. He learned to shake his head “no” at about 6 months of age, which became his answer to everything. He spent under half of his life in the hospital, with the rest at home with family being surrounded with love, and getting all the cuddles he could get from his Mom and Dad. Micah will always be a force of nature and a superhero to those who knew him.

Superman Micah Phoenix Washburn burst through the third dimension on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, one day before his 2nd birthday. He leaves behind his parents, Kiyah and Michael Washburn, and his four older sisters, Tayler, Sami and Sadie Washburn and Maddy Acdock. He is preceded in death by his Grandma Roseann, Uncle Vinny, Grammy Denbow, Grandma Washburn, PawPaw Tony, and Uncle Sgt. Scates.
