Maureen “Moe” Bowman, 80, of Lebanon, Tennessee and formerly of Streator passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, May 3rd at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Saturday, May 3rd at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Cremation rites will be conducted following the services.
Born July 22, 1944 in Berkley, California she was the daughter of Maurice and Margaret (Shea) Wiemers. She married Richard “Rich” Bowman on June 16, 1963 in Berkley, California.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Bowman of Lebanon, Tennessee; a daughter, Paige Scott of Lebanon, Tennessee; a son, Mike (Julie) Bowman of Grand Ridge; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a son in law, Don Melvin of Streator; and sisters, Candi West of Pine Grove, California and Michelle (Kenny) Read of Inyokern, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Kathleen Melvin.
Born and raised in Berkley, California she attended Berkley grade schools and High School. She later attended Contra Costa Junior College.
She was a homemaker through the years.
We are grateful for the time we had with Maureen (Mom), whose love and laughter enriched our lives. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Memorials may be directed to Alive Hospice, Nashville Tennessee. This organization provided invaluable support and resources during Maureen’s last year.
