Bobbie Sue Maynard, age 88 of Lebanon TN, passed away on April 27, 2025.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Gordon Lee and Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service.
Pallbearers: Troy Wooden, Seth Wooden, Tony Elmore, Curtis Burton, and Sam Burton.
The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.
Bobbie Sue Burton Maynard was born in Lebanon TN to Modena Ettmo Carr Burton and Robert Burton. She worked for many years as a stitcher at Hartmann Luggage. Bobbie Sue enjoyed traveling, collecting pocketbooks, and shopping. Family lore is that if you gave Bobbie Sue $5 to shop with, she would spend $10.
Mrs. Maynard is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Estel Rhea “Jack” Maynard, sons Samuel Wayne Wooden and Henry Stanton Maynard, parents Modena and Robert Burton, and sister Billie Jo Elmore. She is survived by grandchildren Troy (Stacey) Wooden and Tonya Wooden, great-grandchildren Jonathan Rosshirt, Maravich Bond, Jack Fakes, Seth Wooden, and Caleb Wooden, brother Phillip (Billie Jean) Burton and sister Sharon Beningo, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
