Margie Barnes Parham of Mt. Juliet died on January 23, 2026, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Tipps, and her husband of 57 years, Frank – otherwise known as “Honey”. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Vikki (Charlie) Adkins and DeDe (Kevin) Long. 4 grandchildren: Tanner (Emily) Long, Keri Anne Long, Frank (Savannah) Adkins, and Maggie Adkins, one great grandson, Henry Adkins, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her younger sister, Anne Jones of Florida.
Beloved mother and Nana, her kindness and generosity knew no limits. She worked until 72 as an office administrator and played tennis until 78. An avid card and game player, she loved working and her tennis friends.
The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
