Mrs. Lynn McAllister, age 70 of Watertown passed away February 14, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, November 16, 1955, she was the daughter of the late William Westmoreland and Ruth Wigglesworth Westmoreland. She was a graduate of West Lamar High School in Bonhan, Texas and Paris Junior College of Nursing. She was a member of Allen’s Point Baptist Church. She was an LPN at Northeast Medical Center in Texas and retired from nursing at James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.
Mrs. McAllister was preceded in death by her husband David James McAllister, March 2, 2024; brother, Billy Westmoreland.
Survivors include two children: Cade Wilson, Michelle (Andrew) Wishard; adopted daughter, Tamara Stockton; six grandchildren: David Wilson (Katelynn), Mauren Medcalf (Josh), Coleman Wilson (Cassie), Aubrey Wilson, Shelby Wishard, Luka Everett; two sisters: Nora McCollister (Jim), Ruthie Douthit; three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services to honor the life of Mrs. McAllister will be held later this spring in Honey Grove, TX.
