Lorene Venard Bush, age 97, passed away September 30, 2021 at Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Lebanon, TN.
Lorene was born May 14, 1924 in Monmouth, IL to the late Robert and Elizabeth Venard. She attended Monmouth High School and later married Gail Eugene Bush on June 1, 1952. She was a resident of Monmouth for over 55 years before settling in Lebanon, TN in 2003. Lorene had been a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary since the 1950s, as well as a lifelong follower of the Lutheran faith. Mrs. Bush also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and word searches.
Along with her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Venard, and her husband, Gail Eugene Bush, Lorene was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Raymer; Brothers, Robert (Peggy) Venard and Frank Venard, and Sister, Sally (Dick) Bender.
Mrs. Bush is survived by her children, René (Paul) Raymer, Georgia Purcell, and David (Aimee) Bush; Sister, Ila Jean Roseberry; Grandchildren, Matthew Raymer (Alison Landis), Elizabeth Calderone, Chance (Amber) Montgomery, Dañell Bush, Gabby Purcell, Jason Purcell, Rebecca Holder, and William Bush, as well as great-grandchildren, Stone Saliba and Anthony Calderone.
A graveside service for Mrs. Bush will be held at a future date at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Partlow Funeral Chapel in Lebanon, TN is in care of arrangements.
