Linda Sue Grishom age 82 of Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday evening, March 4, 2026, at the home of her son in Granville, TN. Born Dec. 11, 1943 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late James Ervin Simpson and Nola May Wilkerson Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. “Bobby” Grishom in 2021; a brother, Vann Simpson and sister, Shelia Webb.
Linda is survived by her children, Steve (Debra) Grishom of Granville, Albert (Debbie) Grishom of Granville, James Grishom of Mt. Juliet and Sue Ann (Gene) Pegram of Brush Creek; grandchildren, Amanda (Cody) Duke, Steven (Shammy) Chapman, Christal (Robert) Preston, Cody Lee Pegram, Hunter Grishom; great grandchildren, Kloe, Oliver, Waylen, Rosalie, Amirah, Oakley, Haisley and Harlan. Also surviving are her sisters, Sandra Ann Foster and Par Cox and a brother, Jimmy Simpson; nieces an nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. David Haun officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. till service time on Sunday. Pallbearers, Chris Pegram, Cody Pegram, Ronnie Pack, Steven Chapman, Shane Bingham, Robert Preston. Interment will follow at Jones Hill Cemetery.
