Linda Murphy Bradshaw Lee went home to be with Jesus on January 31, 2024 at the age of 72.

Linda was born September 1, 1951 to the late Rev. Byron Murphy and Stella Murphy.

She was a graduate of Lebanon High School. She worked as a purchasing agent for Wilson County and then later worked for the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department for many years. She retired with 30 years of service with the State of Tennessee. She was a member of West View Church of the Nazarene the majority of her life and then later joined Hope Baptist Church. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing hymns to the Lord. Her faith in God was unwavering.

Her daughters, Christina and Melinda were the joy of her life along with her grandchildren, Peyton and Savannah and her sons-in-law, Shane and David. She had so many special friends. She spent her days singing, dancing and playing cards. She loved spending time with those she cherished.

Linda joins her Dad and Mom in Heaven.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Christina (Shane) Williams and Melinda (David) Wilhoite; her grandson, Peyton and her granddaughter, Savannah. She also leaves behind her sisters, Nancy (Don) Woodard and Margaret (Billy) Jones; her nieces, Rhonda and Tammy as well as her friend, Janice Whitaker who was with her until the very end. In addition, she leaves behind so many special friends, cousins, great nieces and nephews that she held dear to her heart.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. from Hope Baptist Church, One Outlet Village Blvd, Lebanon, TN (please enter from back entrance of the outlet mall on Murfreesboro Rd., as the front entrance is closed due to construction.) Visitation will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 3-6 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pastor Will McReynolds officiating.
Pallbearers – Shane and Peyton Williams, David Wilhoite, Tim Greenhalgh, Troy Rogers, and Chase Birdwell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Baptist Church music ministry.
