Lewis Howell Patterson age 79 of Watertown, passed away on Thursday morning Nov. 3, 2022 at his residence.
Born Aug. 12, 1943, Lewis was the son of the late Herman Howell Patterson and Louise Thomas Patterson and was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Stephen Patterson; sister, Linda Robinson and her husband, Franklin Thomas Robinson; nephews, Franklin Thomas Robinson, Jr. and Timothy Lane Patterson.
Lewis served in the US Air Force and attended the Greenvale Baptist Church, he was a carpenter and custom home builder.
Lewis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce McBroom Patterson; children, Tonya Lynne (Steve) Cherry and Tracy Lawrence (Brandi) Patterson all of Watertown; grandchildren, Bo (Ashley) Cherry, Mackailyn Cherry and Taryne Patterson; brothers, Lawrence (Debbie) Patterson of Greenvale and Lane (Connie) Patterson of Brentwood; sisters-in-law, Nita Hedgecoth and Betty Whitehead; nieces and nephews, Jimmy and Jeffrey Robinson, Tana Hill, Tara Anderson, Trent, Trevor and Tyler Patterson.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2022 at Hunter Funeral Home with Trent Patterson officiating. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. till service time Monday.
