Leon Ferebee Jr., a beloved husband, father and cherished brother passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.
He was born in Lebanon, Tennessee on October 14, 1951 to the late Leon and Edith Ferebee Sr.
Leon was in the construction industry, with a career spanning several decades as an iron worker. Upon his well-deserved retirement, Leon found joy in fishing and playing computer games. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Church of Christ.
Leon leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Emma Ferebee; devoted sisters, Sandra (Leslie) Ash, Patricia Gammons, Debbie Smith, and Bertha (Jimmy) Wrye; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Shane Ferebee; brother, Larry Ferebee, and sisters, Janie Smith, April Taylor, and Linda Moore.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel, 233 West Main St., Lebanon, TN. The funeral service will be at the Christian Life Chapel, 105 Holloway Dr., Lebanon, TN on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. until the service. Bro. F. H. Gates will officiate and interment with military honors will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers, Eddie Taylor, Johnny Taylor, Ricky Taylor, Jonathan Moore, Michael Duke Jr., and Zackery Stubbs.
