Kathy Wright Reed passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 69.
Kathy is preceded in death by 1st husband, Larry Wright Sr, 2nd husband and the love of her life, Bob Reed, brother; Harry Johnson.
She is survived by son; JD Wright, children in love; Cindi Knight Lofton (Greg), Bobby Reed, Larry Wright Jr; siblings, Betty Jo Dwyer, Corrin Paris (James), and Earl Johnson (Sue). Kathy also has many loving nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Kathy loved her family, she was the life of the party, always had a smile, quick with a joke, and brightened the room with her laughter and smile. She was our world wise mother and aunt.
Kathy and Bob were married for 20+ years, When Kathy met Bob she would not give him the time of day, however, Bob didn’t give up the easy. Bob sent her red rose for months with a card simply saying “Just because” until Kathy agreed to go out with him, and the rest is history.
Kathy will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2024 from 4-8 pm, and Saturday, June 15, 2024, 1-2 pm at Sellars at Mt. Juliet Funeral Home, with services to follow at 2 pm, in the chapel.
