Karen Elizabeth Calhoun
Karen Elizabeth Calhoun, age 66, of Lebanon, TN, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2023. She was born on March 15, 1957, in Nashville, TN. Karen was a beloved mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met.
She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her warm smile and kind heart. Karen worked as a teacher for over 30 years, inspiring countless students throughout her career.
Karen is survived by her daughters, Emily and Sarah Calhoun; her brothers, John and Michael; her sister, Linda; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Calhoun.
A visitation will be held on October 5, 2023, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Lebanon Funeral Home, located at 1234 Main St, Lebanon, TN. The memorial service will take place on October 6, 2023, at 11 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Karen’s memory.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. Karen will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
