Justin Ray Buchanan of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, he was 39 years old.

Justin was a loving man, son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather. He worked at Jadore Luxury Homes and enjoyed it. He was loved by so many and would do anything he could for you; from feeding the homeless on the corner to helping neighbors off rooftops! Justin especially loved his “Hood Rat Boys” and was thankful for the special friendship he shared with Jess Neider.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Griffin; and paternal grandparents, Jessie and Georgia Buchanan.

He is survived by his parents, Kay and Dennis Buchanan; children, Kaylynn (Ryan), Kyleigh, and Keegan; grandson, Remington Ray; sister, Brandie (Jimmy) Buchanan; grandmother, JoAnn Griffin; niece, Gloriana; along with many other loving family members and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 8th at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Brother Craig Evans officiating. The Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Brandon “Bama” Roussell, Josh Brown, Joe Padilla, Cory Krueger, Scott Garrett, William Caldwell, and Chris Lazere serving as Pallbearers. The Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7th at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet from 4-8 pm and again on Tuesday, November 8th from 10 am until time of service at 11 am.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to the Surgical ICU Team at Summit Medical Center.

  1. Justin Ray you would love to by so many people you grew up with a great family you will always playing ball your dad Dennis Ray would referee you and your Aunt Nancy is truly going to miss you my heart is broken I love you
