JoAnn Jennings passed away on her 67th birthday, February 20, 2025, in Lebanon, TN. Born on February 20, 1958, JoAnn was known for her compassionate spirit, especially her love for her family and her animals.
JoAnn dedicated many years to serving the community as a waitress at the Waffle House on 109 and as a bartender at various establishments in Lebanon. Her work was not just a job but a way to connect with people, sharing stories and smiles over food and drinks.
Her life was also deeply marked by her love for her family. She is survived by her son, Daniel Jennings; daughter, Olivia Jones (Matt); granddaughters, Lynzey and Cierra Jennings; grandchildren, Marilyn, Maddie, Matthew, and Maverick Jones; great-grandson, William Robert Blake Webber; brothers, Richard and Ronnie Thompson; and sister, Shelia Davis. JoAnn was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert Jennings; sister, Theresa Williams; and her parents, Ben and Trudy Thompson.
JoAnn’s hobbies included caring for her animals and spending cherished moments with her family and friends.
A visitation and viewing will be held at Sellars Funeral Home on February 26, 2025, from 6 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to her daughter Olivia or paid directly to the funeral home, supporting the family during this time.
JoAnn was treasured by her family and all who knew her and her legacy of kindness and joy will be remembered by all who knew her.
