To cherish her memory and benefit from her legacy, JoAnn leaves her children, Larry Shields of Plano, Texas; Joanna Williams of Mt Juliet, Tennessee; her brother, William (Billy) Hebron and his wife (and one of her best friends) Jerry Ann Hebron of Detroit, Michigan. She leaves her grandchildren, Nya Marie, Shiloh Xavier and Judah Elyse Shields.
JoAnn also leaves a cadre of extended family and friends, along with an uncountable number of human beings that she encountered in a lifetime; leaving a lasting impression with a kind, empathetic, and understanding spirit she showed this world. She will be forever missed.
