Jerry Wayne Cook was born on February 13, 1949 and passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024.

He was preceded in death by parents: Jesse Cook and Alam Pauline (Castleow) Cook, Great granddaughter Jordan Hamblen, brothers; James Cook, Ray Cook, Stepdaughters; Debbie and Terri Somers.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Cook, Daughter; Angel (Marty) Sullivan, Stepson Donnie Somers, Grandson; Codye (Kati) Sullivan, Step granddaughters, Lisa (Rock) Schoot, Melissa (Noah Krantz) Storie; Step great-grandchildren, Jacob Hamblen, and Adian, Brother; Richard Cook, Sisters; Joyce (Don) Lee, Carolyn (James) Ervin, and Shirley Kendall. His beloved grand dog Domino.

Jerry was a loving and selfless husband, father, and grandfather. Jerry spent his life helping others. At the age of 16, he went to West Texas to JobCore for a year before enlisting in the Navy, where he would serve in the Vietnam War. After returning from war Jerry married his wife, Mary.

In 1977 Jerry decided to move his family to Mt. Juliet, where he opened his own business, Mt. Juliet Heating and Air Company, he continued that business until 2020, after 43 years he retired.

Jerry loved Dale Earnhardt, Nascar racing, Geroge Jones, Panama City Beach, deepsea fishing, Panama City Beach, his hot tub, cruising, cutting his grass with his Budweiser.

In May of 2013, Jerry was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. He battled hard until the very end on March 29th at 10:27 pm surrounded by his loving family.
