Jean Marie ‘Jeana’ Nolan Baltz, age 61, entered into eternal life in heaven on Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Born February 12, 1962, Jeana was the youngest daughter and child of the late Patrick J. Nolan, Jr. and Ann Thoni Nolan. As the baby of the family of 6, Jeana rarely wanted for anything and was constantly cared for by her siblings.

Jeana attended Saint Bernard Academy for all 12 years of her schooling and graduated from Saint Bernard Academy High School in 1980. Her work career included Milam’s Optical Service, Deloitte, and 17 years with Metro Nashville’s Human Resources Department, overseeing the applicant tracking system.

Jeana is preceded in death by her brother Tony Nolan and brother-in-law Gary Batson. She is survived by her two children, Joseph (Jill Myers) Baltz and Jenny Baltz. Jeana was an amazing grandmother and fondly known as Gigi to her three grandchildren: Nora, Jackson, and McKay Baltz, who were her whole world.

Jeana is also survived by her siblings Pat (Betty Lee) Nolan, Bill (Nancy) Nolan, JoAnn Batson and Mary (Don) Muller along with many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as several cousins.

Jeana received a single lung transplant in July 2019. She fought a courageous battle alongside family and an incredible team of caregivers.

Jeana’s family would like to thank Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro for their exceptional care in the recent months.

Visitation with the family will be at the Fleming Center of the Cathedral of the Incarnation on West End Avenue; date to be announced in the near future. Additionally, a Mass of the Resurrection for Jeana will take place at the Cathedral, with date forthcoming.
