Erma “Janie” Creswell age 81 of Lebanon, passed away May 8th 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Creswell; parents, Lonnie B and Cloe Franklin; brothers, L.B. Franklin, Larry Franklin, Stanley Franklin, Clyde Franklin and sisters, Kathy Moss, Carnell Climer and Pamela Franklin.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Edward) Hernandez and Stacey Byrum; granddaughters, Isabella Hernandez and Eden Byrum; sisters, Patricia (David) Montgomery and Vicki (Larry) Allen; brother, Glenn (Pam) Franklin, numerous loving nieces and nephews and special friend, Doris Ashe.
Janie was a longstanding member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the former owner of Gladeville General Store. She was born in the Brooks Bend community of Jackson County. Janie loved to travel and was involved in numerous activities with the Golden Gems. She also spent many happy hours at the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center.
More than anything, Janie loved her family, who meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 12th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements 615-444-7007 www.partlowchapel.com
