Jamie Anne (Taylor) Thomas passed away peacefully at her home in Mt. Juliet, TN, on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the age of 59.
She was born on Thursday, March 17, 1966, in Cookeville, TN, to Katie Janis Taylor and the late James Robert Taylor.
Jamie attended Cookeville High School and Tennessee Tech University, both in Cookeville, TN. Following in her father’s footsteps, Jamie worked in the life insurance business for over 20 years. She enjoyed decorating her beautiful home in Mt. Juliet in antique white, which was one of her favorite colors; she had a special gift for making her home look like the cover of Southern Living magazine. She also loved antiquing, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughter, Chloe Belle Thomas, who was her pride and joy. Jamie cherished moments with her husband, their two dogs, Hunter and Tinker Bell, and her beloved son, Chase, and granddaughter Chloe. She was a member of and attended Central Pike Church of Christ in Hermitage, TN.
Jamie is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Joey Max Thomas of Mt. Juliet, TN; her son, Chase Taylor Thomas of Nashville, TN; and her granddaughter, Chloe Belle Thomas of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by her mother, Katie Janis Taylor of Cookeville, TN; her brothers, James William Taylor (Cristie) of Cookeville, TN, and Dr. Robert Jeffery Taylor of Saint Cloud, FL.
Additional survivors include her brother-in-law, Dwight Thomas (Brenda); sisters-in-law, Jan Long (Tommy) and Jeanette Irby (Carol); as well as several nieces and nephews, including Jana Love Case (Jared and great nieces Jolee and Jara Case), Jacob Taylor, Mark Pullum, Sara Davison (T.J.) Amy Ayers (Brandon), Brad Thomas (Heather), Tina Irby, and Haley Trapp; She is also remembered by a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Robert Taylor; her mother-in-law, Roberta Thomas; and her father-in-law, C.J. Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 9:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Sawyer officiating, Interment will follow the service in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and extended family members at Crest Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
