James Elwain Williams, Jr., lovingly known as Jimmy or Jimbo to most, was born on Tuesday, February 16th, 1960, in Nashville, Tennessee, to his loving parents, Jim and June Williams, and was received Home with great joy by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at the age of 66.
The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Monday, August 10th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, August 9th from 02:00 p.m. – 05:00 p.m. and on Monday, August 10th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by children, Breanne (Chris) Pollard and Jon Williams (fiancée, Brittany Overton); brother, Jason Williams; grandchildren, Patrick Loader and Addyson Grace Pollard; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Monroe and Juanita Huggins; paternal grandparents, Baker and Clarice Williams.
Jimmy was an avid hunter and fisherman who found his greatest peace in the outdoors. Whether spending time in the woods, on the water, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, he had a deep appreciation for God’s creation. In his later years, he developed a love for golf, finding joy in the friendships and quiet moments the game provided.
Jimbo will be missed but we rejoice knowing he is in Heaven and no longer burdened or suffering.
